The Eden Project - Regeneration and the art of the possible

Around the late 1990s a small group of people gathered in pubs, hotels and offices to talk about an idea – to create a place like nothing anyone had ever seen before; a place that explored our place in nature, a place that demonstrated what could be done if people who wanted to make a difference got together.

What is Eden about?

The Eden Project, an educational charity and social enterprise, creates gardens, exhibitions, art, events, experiences and projects that explore how people can work together and with nature towards a better future. Our first project was to make a 35-acre global garden in a 50m-deep crater that was once a china clay pit to demonstrate regeneration and the art of the possible.

Switch off the lights and sleep with Pukka

As the climax to our Sleep campaign, Pukka is supporting WWF’s Earth Hour 2015 initiative. Last year the global lights out for our planet campaign involved a record 162 countries across the world with over 9 million people in the UK taking part.
